WITH GREAT FREEDOM COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITIES (english)

With Great Freedom Comes Great Responsibilities
Smartphones, laptops, tablets, even watches, technology is slowly corrupting the world and humanity. We can learn and look up anything we want to know with just a tap. All the wars, protests, births, elections and any other actuality is just a little motion away from most of us. Anyone can write, read, express their personal thoughts and beliefs in front of a little screen. Judging this as an advantage or disadvantage could be one of the most heated arguments of the world right now.
Anyone can tweet, text, publish, make a video, photo-edit a picture anything that they want at anytime, anywhere. Some may even call it the “actual news”. I believe that these improvements have made humans less reliable sources to one another, the trust between two individuals has decreased. Anyone who has a mouth or thumbs can express anything they have to say either if it is right or wrong.
The problem that someone faces whilst arguing about this topic is that limiting “the false ideas” is a threat to the owner of the idea itself. Even just someone judging it by their own opinion is crushed in a normal environment, so when visualizing the possibility of someone taking down expressed thoughts off the social media or media, anyone can imagine the chaotic and furious reactions that will be received.
The reason of this kind of a chaos is because anyone, anywhere around the world wants the golden and most important law of all time “The Freedom Of Speech/Expression”
Freedom of speech is the power that gives every individual a liberal and limitless way of thinking and expressing. Even if this is a very deep subject that is and has been very complex to resolve, this will be just a brief opinion about the “freedom” element in media. In order to comprehend better the idea behind the “freedom” in media, “Freedom of expression” should be explained shortly. When one has the freedom of speech, it is the key that opens any door, the key can either be very helpful or so dangerous that it shouldn’t be given to anyone, everything depends on the holder of the key.
In other words, freedom of speech comes with great responsibility and understanding. If someone has the freedom of speech, the individual should realize that the people surrounding him have the same right too. This freedom isn’t something that is only for certain people, if one has it, others may have it too. If one says that the book “x” was great, s/he cannot furiously react to the ones who express the opposite of his/her thoughts. Even if the subject is about an object, person, idea, belief, even the most simple opinion, acceptance and admitting is an important factor to keep this freedom going on.
Going back to the freedom of expression in media, in order to make everyone                  –reading/listening or writing/expressing– satisfied and happy, in media none of the topics can be muted. Since muting someone’s ideas is against the terms of freedom of expression, trusting the true resources or analyzing and picking the true information can or may be thought.
Upcoming generations should be informed that a tweet or a facebook status isn’t a reliable source. If everyone had believed anything in a social media status everything would be even more chaotic and complex. That is why whilst dealing with chaos or a protest, the people who put their lives in danger after a statement they see that is actually made on a smartphone screen can be used for some implicit aims. In this kind of a situation, even if the person who is being used by and implicit statement, it may immediately make them a victim. Some examples of this exact situation can be seen in the global media right now.
Of course improvement of technology cannot be ignored, the world should and must develop. Yet, development should be made carefully and fair for everyone. This is starting to sound like a “World Peace” idea, however, as said before, the great ability, the freedom of expression comes with great responsibilities. Anyone who wants it, has to admit and drop some bad habits before opening this big door to a more liberal world.
